"Richard's attention to detail and cost cutting creative solutions are second to none. Richard designed our kitchen upgrade and was very patient with a picky (& sometimes indecisive!) customer. I feel that we got a level of service & input that you wouldn't find in a mainstream store.
We had problems with the kitchen installer (generally lacked experience & cut corners) and Richard steadily guided us through resolving all the shortcomings and issues.
We appreciated Richard's can-do attitude & perseverance to put right mistakes made, even when made through the incompetence of others. We love our new kitchen & would be more than happy to show it off to anybody thinking about using Shavings."

"Working with Shavings was a great decision. This company was recommended to me and despite being located 200 miles away, the project could not have gone smoother. The service was five star - Richard replies instantly to any enquiry and has a huge amount of knowledge gained through being in the industry for years. The kitchen was delivered in 1-2 weeks and the quality is really high. We choose a navy kitchen with a marble effect worktop. It looks stunning as Richard ensures that the design really works for what you need and came up with some amazing ideas for storage and a banquette that we could never have thought of by ourselves."

"Shavings helped us choose and design our kitchen at the budget we could afford. Anything we chose which we disliked was changed at a moment’s notice. We changed our minds about a few things but this was not a problem. Nothing was too much trouble and good design advice, suggested at the very last minute by shavings has given us a kitchen to be proud of, even better than we imagined. In addition to this, shavings personal installer did a really good job and I can find no fault with any of the work done. He also did extra work for us which we requested at very short notice, some even being after the work was started. Not many places would do this. I have a lovely kitchen now, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other people - just for the record, I have already done so!

Great Ideas & Excellent Quality
"We contacted Richard on the recommendation of friends and are absolutely delighted with the result. Richard came along with loads of ideas and enthusiasm for transforming our small and dark kitchen. Excellent on price, quality and detail
“While we were building our house we looked at the ranges of ready-assembled kitchen units available from the big, well-known specialist suppliers. We were not very comfortable with sales approaches that encouraged us to take advantage of special discounts that were time limited. Then we came across Shavings Kitchens, who offered essentially the same products, but at a much more reasonable price and no pressure to rush into making decisions. Richard was a good listener who made helpful suggestions and followed through after the sale to make sure everything was satisfactory. We would definitely use Shavings again for price, quality, value for money and friendly personal service.”
